Writing Hour Roundup: 02 March 2021
Our weekly Writing Hour is a great time to get together online with other writers.
We love to host them, especially right now when a good chat is needed more than ever!
This week we asked what everybody wants to do once restrictions ease.
One thing on everybody’s mind is to get that long-needed haircut.
Seeing family and friends is at the tip top of everybody’s list.
Although perhaps the haircut is needed first . . . we don’t want to scare them away!
Now here are the questions you asked us.
Are there any subjects that you would consider too controversial for your readership?
We avoid anything that would be upsetting, lurid or overly-political.
We’re here to make our readers feel good!
Would a hint of the supernatural be acceptable?
Yes, as long as the story isn’t too scary and the supernatural elements are ambiguous.
Have you any updates on when you can return to the office?
None, as Scotland is still in full lockdown.
We’re not allowed to visit the office and we have no fixed date on when we will be able to return.
As soon as we’re able to we’ll let everyone know here on the website.
If you have a question for the Fiction Team, why not join us for our next Writing Hour on Twitter — 11 a.m. on Tuesday 9 March, 2021.
Or click here to find out if we’ve answered your question previously.
