“Finding Christmas” is the latest book from award winning journalist Karen Schaler.
Having recently turned her attention to writing fiction, Karen has stuck closely to a Christmas theme — finding fame thanks to her festive Netflix hit “A Christmas Prince”.
Her latest book, “Finding Christmas”, was released in October. It follows protagonist Emmie’s dilemma as she attempts to get her preoccupied boyfriend in the Christmas spirit.
But he is too busy with work to find the time for her and her favourite time of the year.
Just as Emmie is feeling fed up, another eligible bachelor arrives literally on her doorstep, at the inn Emmie had booked for a romantic Christmas getaway.
As time passes, it seems he has a lot more in common with Emmie than her own boyfriend . . .
This makes for engrossing reading, as we second-guess whether Emmie will give her boyfriend another chance or start a new romance with this mystery new man.
A festive romance with a twist, the book makes for easy reading and can comfortably be devoured in one sitting.
