New-Look Newsletters From The People’s Friend Are Here!
This is not a drill: our new-look The People’s Friend newsletters have arrived!
We apologise for the disruption in your inboxes these last few weeks – we know there’s been a “Friend”-shaped hole in your Tuesdays.
But it’s all with good reason.
What’s so new about The People’s Friend newsletter?
Our digital team has been diligently beavering away behind the scenes to bring you a refreshed newsletter, which is now much more in keeping with the magazine you know and love.
Beginning 25 June 2024, newsletter subscribers will receive a new-look missive from The People’s Friend team, packed with all the latest “mustn’t miss” content from our website.
Top features we’ll regularly include are:
- Writing and submission tips from Fiction Ed Lucy and her team;
- An introduction to our Writer of the Week: the person behind one of the 11 exclusive short stories featured in the magazine;
- The latest books-world news – anything and everything from the winner of the Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction (sponsored by our friends at Find My Past), to a round-up of the top UK literary festivals to know, to our tracker of the stars involved in the film adaptation of The Thursday Murder Club;
- Brilliant (and useful!) lifestyle reads – think cookery, craft, gardening and health;
- Plus, all the nostalgic and newsy bits from the week that have had our team’s tongues wagging.
The best part? Receiving this newsletter is completely free. If you aren’t registered, simply scroll down this page and pop your email address into the sign-up box below.
