Craft On Crafting

Dates: July 12-13

Venue: South of England Showground, East Sussex, RH17 6TL

Now in its fourth year, this relaxed, family-friendly weekend celebrates creativity with hands-on crafting, buzzing markets, and community spirit. Enjoy workshops and demos in pottery, pyrography, rag wreaths, paper flowers, embroidery and more. Explore two craft fields filled with handmade goods, vintage treasures, artisan food stalls, and a new vintage tea room.

This is one of those craft shows with a dog‑friendly atmosphere, live entertainment, even classic cars and evening disco/bingo sessions for campers. Day and weekend tickets (£5–£20).

Crafting Live is a vibrant two‑day craft fair. This award‑winning event features over 80 exhibitors offering supplies from stamps and dies to fabrics, ribbons, beads, and decoupage tools. Visitors can explore live demos by crafting celebrities, enjoy free “make‑and‑take” sessions and take part in workshops covering diverse techniques. Certain workshops are bookable onsite, with VIP early access).

Europe’s leading patchwork and quilting event, the Festival of Quilts takes place annually at Birmingham’s NEC, attracting over 22,000 visitors.
