Knitting: What to Expect in June 2 Issue

This week’s knitting features a little square-necked top with short sleeves and an all over cable and eyelet design.

This pattern is repeated on the back, too. The sleeves which come to just above the elbow are worked in stocking stitch.

Sizes range from 76/81 cm (30/32 ins) to 127/132 cm (50/52 ins) and it is designed to be quite close fitting so be guided by the actual sizes stated.

The Yarn

We titled this one “Shades Of The Sea” which sums up the beautiful blues featured in the Rico Design Creative Sport Print DK yarn. Consisting of a 50% cotton and 50% acrylic mix, it has a lovely soft feel but is also very hard wearing.

There are nine shades to choose from if you want something other than blue, and there is a large range of solid colours, too.
