Features Sneak Peek: November 7, 2020 Issue
Can you believe October has been and gone already? Our first November issue is just around the corner!
On the cover of our November 7 issue, Pat Coulter has been exploring the scenic South Downs, where renowned illustrator E.H. Shepard spent much of his life.
Known for his famous illustrations of Winnie the Pooh, Shepard retired to the village of Lodsworth in West Sussex. It’s easy to see why Shepard settled in these quaint surroundings.
Pat checks out both Lodsworth and the nearby town of Midhurst, frequently voted one of the best English market towns to live in.
Discover the rich history of this picturesque area of the country in this week’s issue.
Remembering Military Dogs
Every year, the month of November marks a period of remembrance for members of the armed forces who lost their lives in various conflicts. Emma Ward is now campaigning to ensure this period of remembrance honours military working dogs who lost their lives, too.
Emma and her family own a pet cemetery in North Wales and want to highlight the stories of the loyal canines who played vital roles in the armed forces through the years.

Hamnet is just one of Maggie’s much-loved and diverse selection of books. Now branching out into children’s books, Maggie’s latest work, “Where Snow Angels Go”, is out this week.
