Story Starter: Hearts

Oh, look, I’m coming over all romantic for the story starter image this week. This was taken in Germany and latches on – if you’ll excuse the terrible pun! – to the trend for sealing your love with a padlock locked on to a bridge. This one comes with a bonus wedding bench. Sweet idea, isn’t it?

I don’t think I’ll make any suggestions or speculations this time – I’ll just suggest the usual 2000 or 3000 words, please, and leave your imaginations to drift off on fluffy romantic clouds….

Shirley Blair

Fiction Ed Shirley’s been with the “Friend” since 2007 and calls it her dream job because she gets to read fiction all day every day. Hobbies? Well, that would be reading! She also enjoys writing fiction when she has time, long walks, travel, and watching Scandi thrillers on TV.
