Willie’s View: The Magic Of Winter

Join Willie for a wee video enjoying the magic of winter near his home.

Winter can produce some fantastic photo opportunities with the low slanting light; the hills covered in snow; drifts piling up behind the dykes and icicles lining the burns.

It’s also a time of year, though, when the things we may normally pass without a second glance suddenly catch the eye.

Frosted grasses, backlit spider’s webs, rows of snow-capped fence posts…even the patterns in a puddle. They can all claim their brief moment in the limelight thanks to the magic of winter.

I thought I’d share with you this time some of nature’s patterns. This is just from a frozen puddle I encountered on a walk from home this morning.
