Crazy for Golf

Golf gifts

A round of Crazy Golf makes us all crazy for golf!

Last night I got together with friends in Edinburgh and we played Crazy Golf at Volcano Falls at the city’s Fountain Park complex.

It was the first time I’d played crazy golf in years, and it reminded me just how much fun it is! We all had so much fun making our way around the 18 hole course. As the name might suggest, Volcano Falls is themed on volcanos. As we made our way around the course, we spotted moving dinosaurs, experienced thunderstorms and played with waterfalls as backdrops.

It was a great way to catch up with friends, and we all commented on what a great date it would make.

Eyes down, concentrate

My connection with Golf comes from RP, who is a keen golfer, and by keen, I mean keen to play, following every tournament religiously, and keen to watch!

We’re lucky to be spoiled in Scotland with some very lovely Golf Courses, some might even say the best, but that’s a dispute I don’t want to enter!

The best thing about RP playing golf is I’m never at a lost for presents and spur-of-the-moment gifts. If it has a golf club emblem on it or golf ball detail, it’s perfect!

The gift that keeps on giving

Our wedding reception next year is to be held in a golf club, the very same golf club that RP learned to play golf in I might add, so it’s very special.

We may even go with a golf theme on our wedding invitations, but we’re still discussing that one!

The thing I find most about golf is that it’s a great pastime for many. Our new neighbours both play golf every week, and as you age it’s a great hobby to have. I’m very happy RP has something ‘just for him’.

Talking of great gifts, I love nothing more than browsing the DC Thomson gift shop, and the Golf themed gift selection is fab. Perfect for any golf fan!
