The “Friend” Readers’ Favourite Christmas Films

christmas films

A little while ago, we asked our fans on Facebook to tell us all about their favourite Christmas films.

Some of the answers were so good, we thought we’d share them with you here!

The most popular

These are the Christmas films that seemed to strike a chord with everyone. There are some real classics in this list!

  1. White Christmas
  2. Miracle On 34th Street
  3. Holiday Inn
  4. The Muppet Christmas Carol
  5. Love Actually

The surprises

There were a few that raised an eyebrow for us here in the office. Not because they aren’t good! But just because they were a little bit of a surprise . . . see what you think!

  1. Die Hard
  2. The Nightmare Before Christmas
  3. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
  4. Christmas With The Kranks
  5. Zulu

The honourable mentions

We had to mention one fan in particular, who loves Christmas films so much they were about to start 31 days of watching them!

Also, one person mentioned TV special “Victoria Wood And All The Trimmings”, which definitely gets classic status in our eyes!

The debate

Judging by the results from the latest BBC poll on the subject, it looks like this debate will go on for a good long while. But the good thing is that means we all have an excuse to watch as many films as we want!
