The “Friend” Does Christmas Jumper Day

Even though we’re all still working from home, the “Friend” team still likes to do things together — and Christmas Jumper Day was no exception!

The charity campaign is held on December 11 every year by Save The Children.

It sees participants head to the wardrobe to dig out their favourite festive jumper, while donating £2 to help make sure children are safe and healthy in the UK and around the world.

Here’s a few of our efforts this year (plus one or two from last year!)

  • Alex, Wendy and Moira.
  • "Friend" cat Marmalade.
  • Manon's dog, Bertie.
  • Fiction team's Alan.
  • Features team's Marion.
  • Digital Ed Iain.
  • Features team's Mairi.

It was great fun to see everyone enjoying themselves for a good cause.

And over on our Facebook page, some of our fans are showing off their favourite Christmas jumper — if you haven’t shared yours, head over there now!

And don’t worry if you missed the event this year. You can hold one any time! And you can even donate your old jumper to charity, too.
