Stand out from the crowd in our cardigan, worked in a pure Merino wool.

We have used Rico Essentials Merino DK in the vibrant shade Orchid (07). It is available from stockists nationwide or you can order direct from www.woolforewe.com.

There are over 40 shades to choose from.

The cardigan comes in six sizes ranging from 76/81 cm (30/32 ins) to 127/132 (50/52 ins) and actual size is around 18/13 cm (7/5 ins) larger giving a comfortable fit.

The eyelet pattern is worked over 16 rows and features the usual lace stitches. It is repeated over the back and two fronts with a single panel worked down the sleeve. A picot edge along the neckline gives extra interest.

We have graded this as an intermediate design.

Finally, you will need eight buttons to complete the look. Ours came from Duttons for Buttons who have a huge selection available. You can view their buttons at www.duttonsforbuttons.co.uk.

We have many requests for cardigans and we hope this one fits the bill.
