The Knitting Preview for our June 10 issue features a summer cardigan.

We have a stylish summer cardigan for you this week.

Our summer cardigan is loose fitting with lace three-quarter length sleeves adding a nice touch.

We have used Rico Creative Summer Sprinkles in the shade Aqua (04), a cotton and acrylic mix that is comfortable to wear on warmer days.

Every strand of Creative Summer Sprinkles is made from four colour-changing threads, twisted around each other to create a marvellous mx of shades that gives a fantastic colour texture.

You can find out more about the yarn and order direct from www.asufaversham.co.uk.

The cardigan comes in six sizes ranging from 76/81 cm (30/32 ins) to 127/132 cm (50/52 ins). Actual size is approx. 23/18 cm (9/7) ins bigger to give a loose, slouchy fit.

Three-quarter Length Sleeves

The sleeves are 28 cm (11 ins) in length.

The main body of the cardigan features stocking-stitch with the sleeves worked over a four-row pattern. The borders are worked at the end.

One final popular touch that is always popular with readers, there are pockets (worked in garter-stitch) on both fronts.

There is nothing too difficult about this design and it will knit up quickly, which is why we have graded it an easy design.

We hope you agree it is a winner!
