We have a stylish lacy top for you this week.

Our flattering and elegant top is worked in a bamboo and cotton yarn for extra comfort.

This yarn used is Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo+Cotton DK in the shade Silver (7149). It is a completely natural yarn and is kind to sensitive skins.

It is machine washable and can be tumble dried on cool. To find out more about the yarn, view the colour palette, or to find a local stockist, visit www.stylecraft-yarns.co.uk.

Instructions are given for five sizes, ranging from 76/81 cm (30/32 ins) to 117/122 cm (46/48 ins). Actual size is around 14/10 cm (5½/4 ins) bigger which will give a comfortable fit.

Difficulty Level

We have graded this as an intermediate design.

The lace pattern is worked front and back over a six-row repeat using the usual lace/eyelet stitches. This is also repeated on the sleeves.

The little necktie adds extra interest but is optional.

Finally, if you are working the two larger sizes, we recommend you use a circular needle to cope with the number of stitches required.

If you are looking for a versatile top that combines comfort with style, then this is the perfect choice.
