They’re Purr-fect!

We are continuing our Love Darg campaign with instructions for knitting these gorgeous toy cats. Watch the video of last week’s Love Darg 2018 knitting circle here.

Help us to help Cats Protection, our Love Darg charity partners by knitting one or more of these lovely fluffy felines. They are worked in Sirdar Touch yarn in the descriptively named shades of Flurry, Truffly or Treacly with contrasting Fleecy or Eskimo.

The Technical Stuff

Each cat will need three 100-gram balls in the main shade and one ball of contrast yarn. A little DK yarn for the nose, two safety eyes, and toy filling complete the requirements.

The cat is worked in pieces and then sewn firmly together. There is nothing difficult about these cats, just follow the instructions. If you prefer, you can use a smooth DK yarn to sew up the pieces.

Remember to fill firmly with clean, new toy filling and you will have a lovely toy cat. Full details of how to donate your completed cat follow the instructions.

These cats are not suitable as cat toys or for very young children due to the fluffy nature of the yarn.

Donated cats will be sold by Cats Protection to raise valuable funds.
