Our cosy overtop is easy to make and very versatile.

The Technical Stuff

This overtop comes in seven sizes ranging from 76/81 cm (30/32 ins) to 137/142 cm (54/56 ins). Actual size is  7 – 12 cm (2¾ – 4¾ ins) bigger.

The yarn is Rico Alpaca Blend Chunky in Dusky Pink (009) but there are plenty of other shades to choose from. We love this shade and it is right on trend for spring.

Also on trend is the staggered length with the back longer than the front.

The entire garment is worked in bands of stocking-stitch and moss-stitch mainly on 6 mm knitting needles. You work two pieces with stitches being added for the drop sleeves.

This means it knits up quickly. So get these needles clicking!
