Knitting Preview: September 7, 2019 issue

We have a stylish cabled cardigan for you in this week’s knitting preview, chosen to take you through the changing seasons.

It can be made in six sizes ranging from 76/81 cm (30/32 ins) to 127/132 cm (50/52 ins).

It is designed to fit quite snugly, so if you prefer a looser fit, consider going up a size.

We’ve worked this in a fashion yarn, Rico Design Fashion Cotton Light & Long, a chainette yarn with a high percentage of cotton, which makes it very comfortable to wear.

The shade is Purple Mix (004), which creates a lovely graduating colour.

It’s great value, and you can make the first size for under £25. The yarn is widely available, or you can order it online at www.beadandwoolshop.co.uk.

Finding the perfect buttons to complement a cardigan can be difficult, but we do think ours are a great choice.

If you like them, they came from www.duttonsforbuttons.co.uk, who have an amazing range of fastenings.
