Knitting Preview: June 13, 2020 Issue
We have a lovely top for you in this week’s knitting preview, featuring a beautiful melange yarn.
Pretty pastels are our choice, with shading ranging from pale creams into pinks and lilacs.
This is a yarn that creates a stunning fabric that needs subtle patterning.
Our design is worked in stocking-stitch with a cable detail down one side and on one sleeve. A comfortable wide neck and garter-stitch edgings complete the look.

The top comes in eight sizes ranging from 81 cm (32 ins) to 117 cm (46 ins). Actual size is around 12 cm (4 ½ins) bigger, so we would recommend making your usual size.
The yarn used is Rico Design Creative Melange DK in Light Pastel (013). It is available from Rico stockists or you can order online from www.ethelandem.com where you can also view other shades.
You will need 6 – 8 50-g balls depending on the size you are making.
