The coronavirus lockdown has seen as many as 14% of us pick up new skills — from crafting to learning languages.
We’ve certainly been busy here at the “Friend”, with Mairi tackling some knitting, Editor Angela mastering the Gaelic language, and Kirsty making her own candles (and even her own face masks!)
So it’s the perfect time for Aldi to launch their Creative Crafting range.

Their Knitting/Crochet Kits (£3.99) are available in a raft of animal-inspired designs, including alpaca, red panda, bear, otter and sausage dog.
Each kit includes a crochet hook, yarn, darning needle and stuffing, along with full instructions.

Make the most of crafting technology at a snip with Aldi’s Digital Sewing machine.
It comes fully loaded with eight styles of one-step buttonhole, and is a snip at just £149.99.
Sewers can also enjoy late night sewing sessions thanks to the long-life LED light.
Fat quarters
Fat Quarter designing is quickly becoming a viral trend amongst Aldi shoppers.
So the launch of Aldi’s new Licensed Fat Quarters (£4.99) and Fabric Fat Quarters (£3.99) comes at the right time!
Adult Fat Quarter fans can get stuck into new designs including Floral Retreat and New Nordika. The kids can discover the fun of Fat Quarters with the Marvel Comics and Mickey Mouse and Friends patterns, too.

Take some time out, relax and enjoy Aldi’s new range of Adult colouring books.
