Crochet Preview: October 9, 2021 Issue

crochet top

We have an easy crochet top for you this week.

By special request, we are featuring a crochet top.

The versatile design means that as well as being perfect worn on its own, it will look just as good over a fine long-sleeved polo neck sweater or t-shirt.

We have chosen Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo & Cotton DK, a bamboo and cotton yarn which is kind to sensitive skin.

We have used the shade Seafoam (7143) but there are over 40 shades to choose from if you prefer another. To view the range and to find your nearest stockist, visit www.stylecraft-yarns.co.uk.

This top comes with instructions for six sizes, ranging from 76/81 cm (30/32 ins) to 127/132 cm (50/52 ins). Actual size is around 13/8 cm (5/3ins) bigger so we recommend you make your usual size.

This design has an easy grading. The pattern band is worked from a 12-row pattern and the rest of the design worked in trebles.

You work the sleeves from the top down over a simple one-row repeat with no shaping.

Your top should work up in no time!

We love this little top, and we know our crochet fans will, too.
