Knitting A Cosy Ribbed Sweater: How To

This is a timeless, classic design that is always popular. A cosy ribbed sweater with raglan shaping and a polo neck.

It is the ideal sweater for this time of year and can be dressed up for smarter days or teamed with jeans or similar for casual days.

Our sweater comes in six sizes ranging from 76/81 cm (30/32 ins) to 127/132 (50/52 ins). Actual size is around 24/19 cm (9½/7½ ins) larger to give a comfortable fit.

The yarn used is King Cole Chunky Tweed, in the shade Shetland (3847). As the name suggests, it is a chunky yarn with multi-coloured flecks giving a tweed effect.

If you would like to view all the shades in the range or find your local stockist, visit www.kingcole.com.

We have graded this as an easy design. The rib pattern is worked over two rows with a double rib pattern on the hems, cuffs and neck. Raglan shaping completes the look.

Ideal for all ages, this versatile sweater is a real winner.
