New To Download: “Your Unforgettable Friend”
“The People’s Friend” has partnered with “Puzzler“, the UK’s largest puzzle creator, to create a dementia-friendly activity book for care home residents: “Your Unforgettable Friend”.
The book features three short stories, alongside articles on 80 years of “The Wizard of Oz” and a celebration of the life of actor Kirk Douglas.
It is also filled with “Puzzler ”activities, including picture crosswords spot the difference, wordsearch and bingo. All of these are based on nostalgic topics.
The activity pack is fully downloadable for free. This makes it perfect for those sadly unable to see loved ones due to the coronavirus pandemic.
DC Thomson Ltd has already sent the book to more than forty care home providers across the UK.
We hope they will now download it for residents to enjoy.
